Abstract:

Diabetes technology has changed at a slow pace compared to what has happened in many other tracts of life. This presentation will walk through that change and look at why and how a community of people with diabetes or parents of children with diabetes took their desire for better technology into their own hands and were able to allow life changing technology to be available to those willing to do it themselves years ahead of commercial products.
