In recent years, cultural and artistic research practices are gaining importance, for they not only pose questions outside of the existing disciplinary frames but they also further interdisciplinarity through experimental formats. We see it as a necessity to allow the encounter of different stances –from politics, over research to the arts– within the space of the classroom and to create a learning setting that is based on practical processes aiming to produce knowledge(s). The lecture series aim to foster the encounter of different actors, such as researchers, students, curators, artists and the general public.
